Learn to Spell 500 Words a Day is for intermediate level.  Each of the five vowels is in a separate book, and the unstable consonants q, x, c, h, g, s, y, and w are in the sixth book.  All six books in the series are for learning advanced reading of phonics and the spelling of 13,000 essential words.  Most finish learning from Learn to Spell 500 Words a Day within days or weeks.  It is a comprehensive book and it contains all phonics made by the five vowels and by eight of the consonants that make sounds, which are different from their letter names.
